I have a school going child who has compelted Jr.Kg in India ...are there any Indian schools near KL and what could be the approximate fees.

Also will they give admission in the middle of the year.

Which are the good areas for Indians to Stay near KL.

Appreciate all the valuable inputs from experts.

Hi where you stay depends on your budget and work! Too general a question for anyone to answer surely? Brickfields area seems to attract Indian expats from the few I met when I was in KL before. But it is best to consider work/school commute issues to be honest.

see https://www.expat.com.my/xschools.htm

re international schools. I have heard of the Indian school but I have no idea if it is any good.

may give you an idea. I used it as I am a teacher and checked out schools I thought of working at!

If you are worried about your wife socialising when you are at work, Malaysians are very friendly and there are many Indian Malaysians in KL. I easily made friends as an expat with neighbours

Hello,

Brickfields could be a good match...

Most of indian expats stay there, as it is the historical place for indian immigrants, then you can find all indian shops, groceries, restaurants (north indian, punjabi, south indian, vegetarian,...), schools, hindu temples,...

moreover this place is walking distance from central train station KL Sentral, making it very convenient to go to almost any place in and around KL if you rely on public transport.

Thanks for the replies...My only concern is my Child's education.

If i choose the option of international school what will be the possible expense for the year.

ALso will they admit my child in the middle of the year as i will be landing there in late June this year.
