Hey Shanghai girls,

Does anyone have experience with going to the hairdresser over here? I assume just having the hair cut should not be a big deal, but how about dying / coloring? Has anyone tried blond highlights and what was your experience? Where did you go?

just go to hair salon in the street， better in down town.

and be careful not to pay money for discount card before you have several times experience in that salon.

I've been hearing good things from lady friends raving about their experience with hair stylists at Beson Salon and 81 West Hairdressers, both in jinqiao area.
It wouldn't be hard to find a salon that ticks all boxes in your area with limited English.
