Hi All,
Does anyone know of any English speaking daytime groups for mum and toddlers. Everything I have found so far is in the evening and I want to keep my 15 month old on a UK timetable of bed at 7 smile.png x

Lindsey, I don't know of any, but it might be worth checking out kidsinbarcelona.com if you haven't already, they have a directory of playgroups, etc.

Many Thanks for your reply, I have kids in barcelona on my facebook page and they do seem to have a few groups but many early evening. I have found one that we will go along to next week smile.png Thanks again x

Hi Lynsey, I work for a company called Keiko's Dream. As yet, we haven't started daytime classes as it's still a very young company but we are aiming to start morning and early afternoon classes, particularly for mums and toddlers. We hope to start after the summer. Keep your eye out on the website or phone Maria, the owner whenever and she'll be able to give you more info. If you can get a few mums and babies rounded up, she'll probably start a class up for you. Hope this helps!

That's brilliant, thanks for the reply. Its been really hard to find daytime activities just because I went to keep her on a 7 till 7 routine as this suits us. I´ll keep an eye on the website as it sounds fab. Thanks again smile.png

Hi there,

Some other sites to check out is the bcn tots google group.  You have to send them an email to get access.  You may find a link for this on kidsinbarcelona.com.  Failing that, you can always email kidsinbarcelona and they'll be in touch.

And also, we went to a mom's run playgroup near the Rambla, which was 10 - 12 one day a week.  I'll send you her email directly.

Thanks Kate, just replied to your inbox message xx

Hello! My husband and I will be relocating to Barcelona at the end of the year... so I am trying to be proactive and find some things for me and my son to do! He will be around 16 months when we move. And maybe meet some people before we get there! Is this forum active at all?

Christine

Hi milabuttercup,

Welcome to Expat.com! smile.png

I am sure you will find lot of new contacts on the site.

Hi
I recently went along to the Barcelona Women's Network and they have a mother and toddler's section there where they meet once a week in the morning, also they are more than happy for you to take your baby along with you to their coffee mornings.

They have closed down through August for the summer but things start to happen again in September.

Hope this helps!

Ah, the joys of August smile.png

It amazes me that so many businesses (I know the womens network isn't one) can afford to close down for a month every year!

Hello!

I'm searching for a native English speaker to babysit and play with my 16-month-old son in Barcelona once a week, a couple of hours after nursery (16:30).

Would you be interested, or do you know someone who might be? We are offering 20€ per afternoon (2 hours).

Is there an email or WhatsApp I could contact you through?
