Saudi Work Visa Medical Exam (from USA) Question

Hi everyone,

I recently accepted a position in KSA and I'm going through the medical exam process.  I have all the requisite medical exams completed, but about half of the results I have from my current employer's general health screen (done in the USA) which was done by the company doctor.  Does anyone know if I can use these exams (all done within the last two months) for my visa?  I would like to save on some medical expenses if possible.

Thanks!

Hi @RightSaidTed, about 5 years ago when I did my medical examination to come to Saudi - I used supplementary test results (done separately) as part of the overall evaluation. The doctor from the approved list of hospital considered it and issued a "fit for employment".

In short, yes it is acceptable -  as long as the they're accepted by the doctor who's filling up the medical examination form for employment in Saudi.

Thanks @modjo!  I'll go ahead and bring those tests to see if the doctor performing the examination will use them.  I appreciate the feedback!

Hi, I have job offer from Saudi Arabia, could you please give me the idea how much does it cost for medical in US. Thanks

RightSaidTed

@auhassan.  In the US, it depends on your insurance, but if you pay out of pocket there are clinics that will run 800-1000 USD.
