Health care in Kuala Lumpur

Hello everyone,

One among the various issue that many expatriates usually raise is Health Care. So, I think it would be very interesting and helpful to start a topic about Health.

   > So, can you please list some of the private clinics & public hospitals in Kuala Lumpur?

   > What about dental care? May be some tips about the costs?

   > Some addresses of Eye care clinic, opticians will also be welcomed!

   > Some addresses of pharmacies around Kuala Lumpur will also be useful.

Do not hesitate, to add more related items to the list.

Thanks in advance for your participation!

I would like to share our own experience too about finding a good health care - when I say we it's me and my husband. Anyway, last year, when I found out that I was pregnant I had 3 doctors before I found 1 perfect Ob-gyne for me.

I found my Paedia in Damansara Specialist Hospital - my doctor is Dr. Gunasegaran Rajan. He is very good doctor and answers all my concern and my pregnancy ended soo well until the day I gave birth - then in the same hospital I also found a perfect Paedia for my baby - his name is Dr. Dato Musa. I would recommend you to these doctors because they make a good team and also I would like to mention that all midwives and nurses in this hospital are all very friendly!

If you're looking for a Dermatologist too - (same hospital) you can see Dr. Sahdiah Sulaiman (1st floor, suite 16) she's very good too!:)

Thanks for sharing winlove ;)

Malaysia got diferent kind of health care, for example TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine & Accupuncture) ,Nutritionist, homeopathy...you can get it in Malaysia.

For opticians Reliance at Bangsar is one of the best in town.
