Hi,

I am retired military. I'm originally from the Dominican Republic but haven't live there since I was 5. I'm looking to retire there in the next couple of years but would like to stay in Las Terrenas for a month or two this upcoming summer.

Where could I stay for that long to see if this is the area I want to live as a local. I'm originally from Santiago, but I enjoy places with beaches better. I'm not a beach bum but I like water sports.

I m planning to buy a house in Las Terrenas..
maybe you can rent mine.

I will be there from 1/4- 15/4 to make my final desicon of which I will buy.
