INVESTMENT - P2P Loans

This is an expat forum for the Philippines, but most of your research ( in the attached links) seems to be with money managers and investment clubs based in the US.   If you cannot obtain at least a Tax ID, most of these investments are not available for a Filipino with only pesos to invest. 
If you are looking for investment ideas here in the Philippines, and indicate you have some money to invest, there is no shortage of people with a  some  'proven investment with a guaranteed return' , willing to take your money !
All the major banks here in the Philippines offer investments in managed stock funds which in turn invest in various financial instruments.  Even then, I am not sure if there is much scrutiny over the managers of these funds here in the Philippines.  A suggestion is to simply buy an 'Index Fund'  through any bank, which will simply track the overall performance of the Philippine Stock Exchange.   Simply check the performance of your invested money once or twice a year and see how you are doing ...
