Hi,

I am an experienced consultant with deep banking knowledge and strong IT expertise in the implementation & the development of banking systems such as T24 from TEMENOS.

My profile on LinkedIn

There might be some opportunities for me to join an ICT project @ the Mauritius Island and I have  some questions regarding my social life if I had to stay for a long period on the island:
- First of all I want to know if it's difficult to find an equipped studio/appartment with kitchen ?
- Is there a fitness center in Port-Louis (with coaching facilities) ?
- Are there some salsa (latino) dancing courses ?
- Are there  regular concert exhibitions ( jazz, blues, rock, pop, electro, alternative) ?
- Are there Art & cultural events ?
- Do you need a car to live on the island ? Is there a public transport service ?
- What are the flight connections with Luxembourg City ?

Best regards,
Bart

Hi,

Finding an equipped studio/apartment with kitchen is not difficult but choices will depend on location, more offers in some places than others.

There are many gyms and other fitness centers in and around PL

Yes there are dance studios providing salsa and other Latino dance classes. A quick google search will provide you with some names.

Yes concerts and and other cultural and artistic events are often organised in different spots of the island. Most are located in the touristic regions and in towns.
Check this:

It is highly recommended to own a car especially if you will be working and/or operating a business.
There is a bus network all over the island but services can be irregular in some places with poor level of comfort. Not ideal if you will be travelling a lot at odd hours.
