Have any foreign lawyers successfully moved over to USA? If so, what visa and how did you do it and did you end up working in legal or move to another job? I am an Australian looking to find work under an E-3 visa which is much like the Canadian visa.

Job search is pretty much like everywhere else - polish your resume, network, network, network. Without US Bar your options are limited. Use Martindale as research tool - which firm has Australian lawyers on staff and what are their credentials?
