Hello everyone,

One among the various issue that many expatriates usually raise is Health Care. So, I think it would be very interesting and helpful to start a topic about Health.

> So, can you please list some of the private clinics & public hospitals in Porto?

> What about dental care? May be some tips about the costs?

> Some addresses of Eye care clinic, opticians will also be welcomed!

> Some addresses of pharmacies around Porto will also be useful.

Hi,

I am a pregnant with nr 3 and have to say so far not been very impressed with the health care.(sorry!)

I have been to 5 diffrent places but the one I am most happy with is saudeatlantica.pt/ . Is is a private clinic they have in Gaia Shopping and private hospital in the Dragao stadium.

I will not be giving birth here in Porto for many reasons, but one of wich is the health care and my personal feelings towards there care. The fact that not many speak english has been an issue for me too.

Good clinic, they also do dental (in which they are very good) and not overley exspensive.
