Hello guys
I have just been offered employment with a major company in Kuwait. They have sent me a job offer, but now they're telling me that my contract of employment will be given to me when i arrive in Kuwait. Surely a candidate would like to see the contract of employment before leaving the country of origin.
Is that the norm in Kuwaiti?
In the UK after getting an offer of employment, your employer would also send you your contract of employment.
I am a bit baffled and confused as i know for sure irrespective where you're going to work, you are obliged to see a contract of employment.
Any feedback would be highly appreciated.
