Looking to make connections with artists in siem reap

Art is a lesser activity amongst the general population of everywhere, but there is good news.

Artists all over the world are using instagram as a medium for their work so just search 'art' and add as many accounts as possible.
Doesn't matter where they are as this is very much an international platform so locals will soon turn up on your IG.
I've just done this with great results in Jakarta so I know it works really well.

Once that's done, get into the local art scene and you'll make new, local, art interested friends in no time.

I only discovered art about two years ago because my school art teacher was a pointless moron with no imagination and a great ability to make art seem boring enough to make you chew your legs off in an attempt to stay awake in his terrible lessons but, upon accepting an invitation to an amazing art exhibition in Jakarta from my boss, I finally realised it was the art lessons I hated, not art.
I know visit everything I can and I'm making a lot of new friends in the art world.
I'm still rubbish as far as creating art goes but I've realised you don't have to be any use at art to enjoy it.
Pity my epic fail of an art teacher never bothered mentioning that - still, he was rubbish as a teacher and had no clue how pointless he was so I suppose I can forgive him.
