Hi! My name is Gabrielle and I am graduating from the University of Southern California this upcoming May with a B.A. in Public Relations. I am desperately trying to figure out how I could make the move to London after school, but obviously am having trouble with the visas - is it actually impossible to receive any type of working visa in London as an American citizen?

While I would love to work in PR right out of school, I do not need to have an industry-specific job.

I am hoping anyone that has made this move has any advice? I am also interested in Copenhagen as well.

Hi Gabrielle and welcome to the Forum.

Unless you have a particular skill identified in the UK Governments "Shortage Occupation List" and then get a job offer in that skill from an employer willing to sponsor your visa and in certain cases pay you above a specified salary, then it is virtually impossible for a US citizen to enter the UK to work and live.
