How did you spend your Western new year in Laos. A restaurant with friends, a party at home. or something else?
Did you notice Lao people celebrating the new year? I suspect there are more Lao celebrating falang new year despite their own new year coming up in April. This is an auspicious time for them so it is interesting to see them embracing another new year too.
