Hi All
I have been working in Singapore almost around 5 years, recently I got another job offer in Singapore and my employer applied for EP, its almost 10 days still my status is pending, I have everything good track history but only my bad this year went some wrong, i.e. I have bit concern I didn't pay properly tax for this year, since I have got notice to clear as soon as earliest, will it get any impact to my EP??, please advise.
looking forward to listen some experts advises here, thanks in advance.

As long as IRAS is only sendoing you notices and has not started legal action to collect your debt, it will not affect the new EP application. But I recommend you pay it within the time IRAS gives you for it, otherwise things might change in your disfavour.
Also, you need lots of patience with EP applications - they typically take 1 - 3 months nowadays.

As discussed using PM, it was your personal income tax, need to be paid asap before IRAS flagged up further to other authorities including MoM. Try to pay in onetime asap.
As Beppi said, you need to have patience on your EP approval. Good luck.
