Are US medical care documents valid in EU?

The question I have is this one if I’m traveling with my significant other and there are medical issues such as treatment, or end-of-life decisions, do the documents drafted in the US count. Are they valid and will they be respected in all EU member states?

Each country has their own laws, along with their own it's more likely than not that your advance health directive or other documents would not be recognized.  You should probably remake those documents in the particular country where you will stay.

If it happened that they were recognized, they would need to have been translated and have an Apostille attached for recognition

If you are so pre-occupied with medical considerations, you should not travel.
You will only be able to enjoy your trip if you are free of undue worries!

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.
