Is 33000DKK per month is enough for two people?

HI HyggeTime and all,

Can you please tell me whether 33000DKK per month is enough for two people (one not working) in Denmark?I will be living in Billund or Brande.

How much will be the tax ?It comes 44% as per my calculation.

Please let me know as soon as possibe... Thanks a lot for all !!!

Hi,

I just posted a reply and realized that I had read your post wrong. I thought you said 3300. Yes, you should do nicely with 33,000 kroner per month. Especially if you are living in Jutland, which is considerably cheaper than Copenhagen.

Your only major cost may be transportation since the public transportation infrastructure is not as vast in Jutland as it is in Copenhagen. This may require a car purchase or lease if you are traveling far to work.

Would look into leasing if you are only here for a short time, since cost of cars if pretty high.

Your kroner goes about 1.5 times farther in Jutland than Sjælland.
