Hi!
Im going to NZ late December/early january to visit my bf who is there working.
Unfortunately I used my work visa for NZ and was planning to go there as a tourist for a few months.
However some people have told me its easy to get sponsored by jobs there - we are going to Queenstown and I have lots of years experience working in bars and restaurants.

Does anyone know how long it takes (ish) for a sponsorship visa to go through? Like if the job would send in our application today how long would it take for it to get accepted?
Or can I apply from inside of NZ while Im there on a tourist visa?

Thanks!
Jenn

Why not apply for a working holiday visa.

as I mentioned I used that already :/

You said work visa not working holiday visa.
Why not do some research, find out contact details for bars, restaurants, hotels in Queenstown and contact them about possibility of work.

As far as applications go, it is getting close to holiday season here so customs and immigration office will slow down because of holidays.

Exactly what Im doing. Just wanting to research the details about the visas since, in my experience, work places dont always know everything about them and if I do ita easier to get sponsored

Government immigration website should have details for you.
