Hi all. I applied for Hungarian citizenship by descent about 3 months ago and haven't heard anything back from the consulate yet. Just wondering if anyone has been through this process and if so how long before they got a response that their application was aproved? Thanks!

Hey there, I'm sorry to say that I submit my application in May 2016 and it still hasn't been approved.
Because each case is so unique, and from what I gather there's much backlog, it is an incredibly lengthy process.
Also there doesn't seem to be a clear yes/no answer. It's just a waiting game I'm afraid!
