Hi all, my husband (british sponsor) meet the financial criteria of 18.600 with his 20k/year income. However, the monthly rent of the 4-bed house he rents for the last 8 years is 1700. Some solicitors think HO may refuse the application on the grounds of "affordibility" as his rent is remarkably higher compared to his monthly income. I appreciate your opinions too. Thank you.
