I am a French teacher is the states I have been coming to Cap-Haitien every summer for the past 4 years providing French and English literacy support and teacher staff development. I have been looking for a studio apartment, or at least living space that is detached from the main house. I have only found one place in 4 years and it has very limited availability in Vertières.
Are there places and I just don't know where they are? Also, I am a teacher and I would love to find affordable rent, less than $1000 for one month. I do not need AC. A fan, reliable electricity, and safe environment are key. No more than 15 minutes from town center is a plus.
