Hello everyone,

What bills do you pay? If you are renting, are bills included in the price of rent, and is this common practice in Turkey?

How can you pay your bills (e.g. online, at provider's store, at the post office)? Which is the most convenient or reliable way?

With what frequency are different bills sent in Turkey? Are there different deadlines for payment?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Hı,

Generally renting a house doesn't includes all the bills.
For payment every service has its own branch.
But you can pay all your bills via BANKS like Vakıflar, Ziraat BANKASI and etc.
PTT (Nationwide Postal Service) is also accepting almost all of the bills payment.
These bills are GAS, Electiricity, Internet, Water etc.

Lastly there are private payments shops taking very limited commission like 2 Turkish Liras. Here is one of web page

All the best.

Simple.
Pay electricity , gas, telephone and internet by direct debit thru the bank. Very convenient since I don't have to worry about when and which bill I have to pay.

Hi

You can pay ur bills via mobile online banking system or bank or some other bills retail shops around or through the ATM 🏧 machine if u have a Turkish bank account.

It's easy.

Firstly the meter has to be in your name even if it is a rented property.
secondly I suggest you go to the electricity company about the bill

Hello
I have been staying in TURKEY  fr 5 years now.
Bills might be tricky at times on the payment  bt if u organise urself well all goes smoothly  with time.
We have several bills to mention the most imporatnt2 bills
Water/electricty/internet/gas/apartment  managemnet(aidat).
The bills comes anytime  of the month there is not fixed date except  for the aidat  sometimes can habe dixed date.
So all u have to do is have savings aside fr ur own bills which aint sure to be how much and when to be paid.
Hope i helped u with my essay LOL!!
