I was wondering what kind of documents are required to get a work permit in Egypt?

the organization you are gonna work for should do it and tell you whats needed exactly
sometimes they only ask for a passport and do the rest by the management, so i think you gotta ask the foundation you would want to work with

Do we need need to authorize the labor contract from homeland especially when we have never lived there. and have always been a Expat residing different countries?

Well . Is your busiseness indevidual or with company /?
And it depend on the gob require ..simply ..
What filed you will work in then i can get the info about
..
Or you can work as free lancer ..
And thats easier and no governement taxes on .. ..
