Converting to a Greek drivers license

Hello
I have a NYC drivers license.
We have just moved to Greece and intend to live here - As permanent residents

1. How long can I drive here with an american drivers license? (i did not apply for an international DL)
2. Do I need to get a Greek driver's license if I want to drive my own a car (car registered in Greece)?
3. Whats the best way to do this?

Hi,you should go to your local KEP office where they will advise you,look on line as well for instructions about this,its all there,but KEP which is a citizens office,they are all over the place,they issue documents and normally speak English,look on line for the nearest one to you,they will guide you on this matter officially.
