Drive in Ecuador on a US license?

Based on my research on the Web, 60 or 90 days.

The limit has apparently changed more than once in recent years .. and I doubt most cops know the terms of the exact law that is supposedly now in effect.

If anyone tells you a different number of days, take it with a grain of salt unless they can back it up with a reliably current citation of the law.

Now that the new immigration law is taking effect, it's possible 180 days will be allowable for those with a tourist permit of that length.
