Need house on rent

Hi, I will be moving to Copenhagen from India looking for shared accommodation on which I can register CPR. Please let me know.  do I need to register CPR with in 5 days once I land in Denmark.

Regards,

Harsh

Check out the housing section at the top of this page. You can also place a free advert there too.

I have earlier asked International Citizen Service in Odense how this rule (registration within five days) is administrated and got the following answer:

The short answer is that as soon as possible after he has been established in Denmark, he meets the local citizen's office or here with us at the International Citizen Service to be registered.

Please note that he can not use the address of a youth hostel, B & B or hotel as a permanent address.

However, I can see that it should be possible in your situation to register at a temporary address.

I suggest to you that you contact the Copenhagen filial:

hi
is it possible to get CPR with office address & employers letter.

The answer is No, you cannot.

Quote from above:

Do notice the wording as soon as possible.

Due to the rules you have five days to have this issue fixed. The administration cannot officially say that you have more time, but in praxis it will be no problem that you take your time to find a permanent housing before registering.

I suggest to you that you contact the Copenhagen filial of icitizen within the five days if you don't like to ignore the rule. I am quite confident that they'll tell you same as the Odense filial told me.
