Thinking of moving to Dorado

Hi All -

My wife and I are considering a move to Puerto Rico in the next 12 months. We have a 12 year old daughter and she is our main concern regarding her education. I currently own 2 online businesses and am thinking Act 20/22 may benefit us financially. I am looking for suggestions as to areas where we should rent. I have heard Dorado is nice, but would like some opinions.

My main concerns regarding moving are as follows:

1) School (public or private) for 12 year old.
2) Security - safe, family friendly neighborhoods
3) Internet connection
4) Electricity ( I don't think I would be good with sporadic outages). Will a generator alleviate this issue?
5) Access to shopping (i.e. Walmart, pharmacies, grocery store, etc.)

Thanks in advance.

You should add Palmas Del Mar in Humacao to your list. Excellent schools great comunity, secured, used by several act 20/22, and also some of the members of this forum. Search online for it there is a web site

Do you know if any of the casinos on PR offer Texas Hold 'em poker?

Nope I dont gamble, I like my money too much, rather have a bunch of Alcapurrias.

Some of our members in the west of the island hold poker games at their homes. Probably some of the members in Palmas may do the same.

I'm not a city type person and neither is my wife. Our #1 choice is Dorado, not because I live  there but because of all that it has to offer. Like great schools, beaches, restaurants and is about 30 min away from SJ.

If you have a online business, you'll love Act 20/22. I have friends that have online business as you and they're loving it!!!
