It's not really behind the scenes anymore because there is more and more exposure.
Example: In a place nearby my home they received a huge fine from the EU. And now they are working on a new waste dispostal.
This dutch guy did great work with this documentary

Ha, I read many of your posts but missed that one. A really good post. Exactly what I was thinking. I too watched all of them (ok, most). His films ARE very well made. He should think of a career as a film maker once he takes his finger out of the dyke hole.
The problem is that according to his movies, the destruction is widespread in many areas affecting the environment and nature.
I guess I/we just have to hope that the desire to become a full EU member will save the land.
