I have a question I hope someone can answer...let's say there is 2 years left on my passport before I have to renew it .and I decided to visit and stay in the d.r..would I have to return back to italy to renew the passport or does the Italian embassy issue the renewal from there..in other words does one have to leave the d.r.to get there passport renewed back to there home country..thanks in advance for anyone with information on this
