Hello everyone,

What are the main festivals in Belgium? Are there art, food, music, film, or other festivals expats can attend and participate in?

When do the festivals take place? How long does each festival usually last?

What activities go on during the festival? Is it necessary to buy tickets?

Are there any other events that take place in Belgium that shouldn't be missed?

For me, Graspop is the best festival in the country. Perfect size, great bands, fantastic atmosphere and everyone's there for a great time. It's not the biggest but th size is just right. Wercher has too many people in too small a space. If they added a stage or 2 I think it would help a lot.
