I'm Polish girl currently living in London. My partner originally is from Sri Lanka and his dream is to move there in a couple of years. Does anyone could help to find out about living in there. I'm curious how are the people in there. My partner is worried I'm not going to be happy in there.

Hi Paulina,
There are few things you should look at
1) Climate is Humid and Hot in colombo unless and other wise it did not rained
2) People are nice and friendly most part of the country (exceptions too can be noted)
3) Cost of living compared to UK is low
4) There are no fancy shopping malls.
5) Plenty of schools are available in the capital
6) Rent is slightly high in the capital and in cities
7) Vehicles are expensive here to buy. But you can choose either to go ahead with a lease option or paying cash full
8) You will have nice and mesmerizing beaches, country side in the central of the country and dry and hot weather in the North part of the country.
