Over the last 5 years the Tagaytay area has swelled enormously with subdivisions and shoping malls to cater for Filipinos visiting during the hot summers from Manila. The weekend traffic is solid and also the winter temperature can be chilly and damp. We visit during the week to shop sometimes. Unlike other areas there is no centre for mixing or events and its just a sprawling built up area.  There are some nice and cheaper areas close by and at lower altitudes. We rented near there on our first arrival and our new honda CRV didn't have a heater so to clear the condensation on the windscreen we switch on cold A/C. chilly chilly....
