Recognition of foreign qualifications in Puerto Rico

Hello everyone,

Were your professional qualifications recognised in Puerto Rico? What country did you complete your qualifications in? What profession are you in?

Did you have to go through any formalities to get your qualifications recognised, such as to have them translated?

If your qualifications weren't recognised, were there any additional tests or exams you had to complete before you were able to practice your profession in Puerto Rico or continue with your studies?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

No my business license was not recognized by puerto Rico when I moved.they want you to basically pay there fees to keep a license here. Makes no sense since they claim to be part of the u.s.The same applies to gun permits I've had a permit in the states for over 30 years but here in p.r. they have there own fees to be a gun owner.
