We have been talking about loneliness when you are abroad, let's now talk about how to make friends (locals or expatriates) when you're living in Catalunya

Which are your best tips to meet people and to make friends in Catalunya??

Good Question! I am and Irish lass and have just moved to Barcelona from the UK with my native boyfriend. It's early days but I would like to make expats friends...Are their social groups, amateur dramatics, I dunno anything like that where I can meet English speakers?

There is the International Women's club, http://www.iwcbarcelona.com/Site/IWCB_Home.html, there is another, but the name escapes me.

There are the hash house harriers, http://barcelonahashhouseharriers.furtivefrog.co.uk/
