What's a good allowance per week to give to live in girlfriend/wife? The allowance needs to cover groceries(three adults and one baby), some money for her to sock away and miscellaneous/whatever...

Allowance for a girlfriend? You mean salary?
This is why vietnam is heading the same was as Thailand, all the scamming and gullible westerners.
A good "allowance" is nothing and if she asks for money get rid of her and get some pride back.

I took your advice, mate. Put my foot down and told my infant son that he was drinking too much milk and dirtying too many diapers. Oh and that time he got sick and made me take him to the doctor. Gave him and mom the boot for taking advantage of daddy.
