I had the same experience, after my first job, i had to travel back to my country but i chose to go to Qatar for a visit and it works, i stayed there for a week and then back to my country. So it should be possible for you as well. If still you have any doubt, you can simply call to the embassy and confirm it.

Hello there...I am currently in Abu Dhabi...I had no problems in entering UAE..though I had the boarding pass for my connecting flight, upon arrival I went straight to the passport control section...It was around 9 pm when I arrived and it was open...I mean not crowded...I was about to go to the other nationalities when a woman in GCC/Residents called me because there was no one in her post..she asked my passport only...so I have to tell her "what about my visa?" that then she realized that am new and she took my visa handed it to the man in the foreign post stamped it both my visa and passport...she did not asked for my outbound ticket..

Now in Abu Dhabi....I am looking for a teaching job...preferrably a Mathematics -high school...anyone who can refer a similar job will be appreciated...

I had a friend from USA who was in teaching but due to recession, he lost the job from a government school, was a computer teacher with a PHD last year. Since then i also looking a computer teacher job for him and always send him leads wherever i get.
