Riyadh Mommy & Baby Playdate Meetup

Hello there,

I have been in Riyadh a few months and just arrived back after giving birth abroad. I now have a 2 month old baby girl and very keen to join a group with other mums in similar circumstances. Did you ever manage to form a group? If so Id love to be part of it!

Just read your thread - do you still arrange play dates etc? We got here 4 days ago so everything is still pretty new.

I'd also like to join the club, am living in Riyadh for the last 2 years now I've a one year old baby and have tried to socialize but seems like everyone is busy in their own life and my husband has a very busy schedule work and then with his friends I get very lonley here even when he leaves us at home while going on his biz trips for a weeks at times am locked up in the house with my baby for the entire time its so depressing!!!!!

So good to see all the messages on this wall - I relate to each one! Moved to Riyadh this July and have been pretty much on house arrest with my 9.5 month old. We are desperate to find a group like this so we can make friends here in Riyadh, get out more often and have things to look forward to. My daughter too needs to see more humans around her, play with other children, develop social skills. Poor thing has developed bad stranger anxiety - thanks to the isolated life we live here.
