Hello!
My name is Laurika, and I am currently living in South Africa. I am a second year Interior design student and I would like to do an internship next year in the Netherlands. I am not sure how it works and if it's possible to do that as a foreigner, but I would really love to try.
My boyfriends lives in the Netherlands and after I graduate, I want to move there. So work wise, I think it would be a good thing to do an Internship abroad instead of in my own country.

Any advice on how to apply for an internship or how to do one in the Netherlands?

Hi Laurika and welcome to the Forum.

First off; at the top of the page is our Handy Tools section, within which is our Expat Guide, that has many articles written that may help you plan your move.

With regards to Internships; they are by themselves pretty unique and after your own University, I think Google is probably your best start point; there are many recruiting agencies in Holland and this link will take you to one I just found.
