Obtaining a Work Visa for Iran

Hi, I am Madeleine.

I am 24 years old from Melbourne, Australia. I am a qualified speech pathologist (Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Speech Pathology) and current work in a paediatric clinic. I am also in the process of completing a TEFL 120 hour advanced course.

I have a significant amount of experience with language, including correct use of grammar, phonics and literacy, including reading.

I would love to get a job in Iran teaching English, but it has been tricky to find jobs online. Without first obtaining a job, and having the employer sponsor me, I am not sure if I can apply for an Iranian work visa.

Has anyone been in this situation before and can offer some advice? Are there certain websites I can be checking for English teaching jobs in Iran?

Help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, welcome to the forum and good luck with your dream.
You'll find a 'Jobs" section at the top of this page - perhaps you could pop your CV in there and see if anything shakes.

The worse that can happen is you waste a little typing.

Hi Fred,

I have sent through my CV to the jobs section but I'm still not sure about the visa process. Thanks for your response though!

It's going to be a hard one to answer on here because there are so few members from Iran, probably a lot to do with the political tensions between some countries.

Your best bet is likely to be here
