hi Anette!

Welcome to Expat.com ;)

Awesome to come across another lover of soccer :D So what's your favourite team? Do you get to play soccer regularly where you are in Philippines?

Take care!!!

Thanks! :)

Of course my favorite team is Manchester United.
Back in Norway, my favorite team is Brann. :)

I haven't had the guts to play soccer all by myself here although it has been very tempting. All I can do is to just dribble alone, but I might seem weird to some Filipinos. Haha
Just hoping to see if other foreigners here would like to play soccer. That would be nice.

What's your favorite team? :)

Take care too!

Hi Anette

My boots are sitting in my apartment for 5 months without any action now....and legs are itching....maybe I should start to advertise for some kick around sessions.

Am scouting for soccer fields in Manila...

It seems like you have played a lot of football in Norway. I used to play Semi-Pro in Singapore and have coached Sunday league teams, am a hardcore West Ham United supporter myself, yours is top of the league and mine bottom :(...anywhere to catch live soccer on BPL?

Now I know there will be soccer buddies soon...

Hi Owen

It has been years for me and my soccer shoes have acquired quite enough dust, but I know I still have got some skills left in me. Well, there is a soccer field inside my subdivision. The Koreans play there but I can't join. They have their own team and they don't really talk english. Bummer :(

Well, Basketball is to USA as Soccer is to Norway, so I was practically born with soccer shoes. Haha Oh, so you've been seriously playing soccer. What I've done is mostly be a member and playing for years for a local Soccer team back in Norway.

Live Soccer, now that I do not know. I only get glimpses of soccer games on my cable ones in a while. American Football is the thing on local bars so Soccer would be rare. But like I said, there's an ongoing trend right now so who knows, soccer might totally invade the Philippines.

Yesterday, some people were playing on the field, but it wasnt like real soccer or anything. It's a start :) I'm crossing my fingers and hope to catch some real game soon.

It's going to be your own reply right back at ya! Manchester United of course! Lol ^^

Well Anette, I sure hope you manage to round up some people who want to play soccer too.

Are you working/studying? You could consider asking your colleagues/classmates?
