UK insurance with Italian NCB

Hi all,

I'm looking for getting a car in the UK with an NCB that is issued (in Italian) from my insurer. Does anybody has already experienced this? I mean, foreign NCB are typically not accepted, with few exceptions for Spanish, German and Portuguese ones. I know that a broker can deal with the problem but I do not find one online.

I have also read that it is good if the insurer can provide me with a letter, in English, stating my no-claim history. However, the pain is that online insurer does not deal with this kind of case.

Any advice is welcome.

When you move countries you will often find you will loose all No Claims bonus that you have occurred in previous countries.

Depends on the Insurance Company; some do, some don't. Those that do often ask for confirmation in writing from the previous Insurer and the contact details so they can check it. Google will help you find those that do/don't.
