HELP! I an a USA vet and retired NYPD police office. Anyone know the best bank on the North Coast to open an account? I am moving down in December. Need to transfer my auto deposit SS and Veteran pension to a bank in the neighborhood. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

On the north coast many Expats use Banco Santa Cruz as they are very Expat friendly. Why not have your direct deposits done in the US and just transfer money here when you need it? Where on the north coast are you?

As i indicated by private message you will have to be here to open the account. Bring a reference letter from your bank.
Your direct deposit options are handled by the originator of the funds. You will have to ask them.
