The minimum amount for inpatient treatment is 20,000 TL, while for outpatient is 2,000 TL.

During residence permit applications please take note that, a health insurance policy is not required for ages under 18 – above 65. These aged persons are medical protected under the law so all medical expences in hospitals are covered (free of charge) by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
It is important that the policy must have the expression of “This policy covers the minimum coverage stipulated in the circular no 9, dated 06/06/2014, on private health insurance required to be taken out for residence permit applications”.
