I am supposed to be getting married in Egypt. .. I am a united States citizen.. I went to the embassy, was treated horribly. .. to the extent I asked for a supervisor. . To get a marriage stamp, supposedly got one, they did not ask me for any information including my divorce decree.. my fiance went to the us council of foreign affairs and they said trump stopped the approval for marriage approval when he was here.. does anybody know if this is true or what steps I should take?

The new laws started on March 1 2017 if you need any help just let me know I just helped two of my American friends get married and have a good lawyer
