Duration to get work Visa in Oman

Hi,

I got recruited as Quantity Surveyor in a reputed company in Oman. I have submitted my Degree certificate, Passport copy to the company before a month. They said they will issue the Visa copy at earliest. Just before a week they said they have got Labor clearance for me and my visa is under process. Later When I asked about the Visa status they said it will take a couple of days.. But now they are saying it is getting delay.. Actually I'm worried after hearing this because I have resigned from a company in Qatar after getting this opportunity.

Can someone please say how long it will take to get work visa? Any reasons for the delay?

There is no set time for visa processing. It can take couple of days or may take months.

All you can do at the moment is to follow up with the PRO on how things are progressing.

I'm not sure why you have resigned?! It's always better to resign once you have your new visa in hand, especially if you are relocating to another country.
