Dear all, I am travelling to india on an emergency....my passport expires in Aug-2017....would there be any problem while travelling back to saudi.....can I renew my passport after coming back to saudi?

Fred

Every country I've ever visited required a minimum 6 months validity.
Check before you travel.

No problem dear...u can travel
But when you wil come back??

If you are going back to your own country , you do not need the validity part and its valid till Aug 2017 as you said. If your stay is not for long and you will return very soon then you can renew your passport upon coming back .

I am going on 12th April 2017 and shall return on 25th April 2017

If you are returning in such a short time you can come back and renew here.

All the sites say a minimum of six months for all nationalities entering Saudi, but they don't mention existing visa holders.
That might well be different.
