Been trying to find someone online on various websites but no luck yet. Anyone know where (or who) I can find someone in Hanoi who would be willing to travel to meetings in Hanoi and nearby. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Have you contacted the universities in Ha Noi, they have students who are studying translating and may know of someone.

There are TONS of ads online for Vietnamese lessons taught to English-speaking foreigners.
I've met some of those teachers through Internations dot com meetings in Hanoi.
They probably qualify.
Check Facebook groups, including "Hanoi Massive"
