Is it possible to open a account with Santa Cruz bank in Canadian dollars. I am in Canada now and cannot reach the bank to ask. I have a account with that bank but a US dollars account and Peso account.
Thanks

Bob K

I believe they only have USD and Peso accounts.

Stan. you can send Canuck bucks. They will be converted into Pesos.
Not sure my comment helps.

StanR

Thanks all for the info. I thought that this would be the case, just wanted confirmation.

Stan, why not just have a Scotiabank accnt in canada, and withdraw here, with no charge?

StanR

Actually I already have a Scotia acct in Canada. The issue I have is I will be  working in Mexico and I want to avoid sending my pay to a Canadian bank.

Bob K

Maybe I am missing something here (very possible at my age) but I don't understand why an account here if you are in Mexico.  You do know the pesos in Mexico is a different currency then the Peso here?  Maybe I need more coffee :D

Yes Bob, have a coffee and connect the dots. Being a Canadian who has now made DR my country of residence for ___ _______ and is now working (not a resident of) in Mexico. Working for a Canadian company (CND $) sending my pay to ???.  :/

Just send it to your account here and it will.convert.
