Hello
I am travelling to Madrid on my own and have a limited time in the city.

I would love to receive your suggestions of interesting places ...perhaps unusual traditional Spanish places....I love to photograph 'different' and 'quirky' areas...not only the normal buildings....but also love the tapas bars and the Spanish way of life

Amo Espana ....yo soy de Escocia ...vivo en Inglattera en Leicester.

I arrive in Madrid on Monday April 10th and leave late on Thursday 13th.

I suggest you post on a travel forum rather than an expat forum tartanjim.

Jim, you might be better served on TripAdvisor or something similar. We're aimed at helping others interested in living abroad.

Thank you but as I travel a lot I like meeting different ex pat people in different places and exchanging 'World chat' ....and understanding different cultures ...just like I did when I had to adjust when moving to England....I have MET many other ex pats in several places including Moscow and Malta .....and also have developed friendship in many countries including even Iran....and helping giving them useful information initially on the forum eg...information in settling in Europe etc.
Perhaps my message was more solely like a tourist and zi should have worded it better.
