I used to live in the US and moved to Paraguay 2 years ago. Here are some of the answers:

In Asunciòn it varies depending on the neighborhood.
Prices are from $250 to about 1000 in some of the nice areas.
> How much do you pay for your public transport tickets (bus, subway, train, tram)?
Bus is $0.70 regular to $1.2 with AC.
> Staple food: what do people eat and how much do they pay for basic food like bread, rice or pasta?
Cheap about $1 each for a bag.

$150 or so per person - could be lower if needed
> How much does it cost to see a physician/doctor/specialist in Paraguay ?
$20 to $50 per visit without insurance
> What is your children's schooling monthly budget?
Private schools are around $200 per month per child.

$70 toyota corolla

Medium size house
Electricity with 5 ACs $120
Water $50
